Today we decided to go to another concert. This time we got there because there were no what the French bus company calls "perturbations." The concert was in an area of Paris called Montparnasse, named after the railroad station located there. One of the main streets that leads from the station is the boulevard Montparnasse. It is very vibrant area with all kinds of movie houses, restaurants and souvenir places. The concert was over at about 5pm so we sent to "La Coupole", a famous restaurant/café for a drink before supper. It is very elegant inside as you can see.

The concert was in the church called Notre-Dame-des-Champs which is right on the boulevard Montparnasse. Here are some shots of the interior of the church.

We had intende to go to a restaurant that we know in the area but it was too early since they open at seven, so we took the bus back to République where we had dinner at Léon de Bruxelles, which is famous for its mussels. We had the "moules frites" for dinner.
