Thursday, September 4, 2014

Well, here we are, Thursday, September 4,  and we are sitting in Charles De Gaulle airport waiting for our flight to Rome. We will spend the night there and then take the train in the afternoon to Spoleto and then on to Scheggino where we will spend a week rehearsing, preparing for two concerts, and also seeing a bit of that part of Italy. The concerts will on Friday and Saturday. This is the same program we attended in 2010. We enjoyed it so much that we are returning for the second time around. When we arrive and register, we will have a better idea of our program and I will be able to post daily (hopefuly) entries with lots of pictures so stay tuned. The blog about our Paris stay will be temporarily suspended until September 14, when we return from Italy. So you may return here then for the continuation of our 2014 saga.

In the meantime, please try our Scheggino blog at www.scheggino2014.blogspot.com

Here are a few shots of Paris of a variety of topics that you might enjoy. I'm told that it is the photos that people most enjoy.

Above, we have a Knee Specialist Center, they do both left and rights (HaHa)

Follow the sign for Coscous. It says, ", Couscous, it's here."

The Moroccan "deli" for both eat-in and take-out. We ate there once and will go back. It's in the market called Les Enfants Rouges which is next door to our apartment building. It's the oldest market in Paris.

A beautiful shot of the sun's effect on the top of the building at the end of our street.

Our street, la rue de Beauce.

REMEMBER! BACK TO THIS WEBSITE ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14.
